I am Canadian. Female.  Feminist. Forty-something.  Unitarian/secular Jew.  A former part-time doctoral student.  President of a web company.  Self-employed for almost ten years.  A consultant in social and fiscal policy, and public affairs. (No, the last one doesn't refer to sordid sexual liaisons.)

I am married, to a man I met on Compuserve -- a computer romance.   We lived on different continents at the time (1992); we live together now.  I have a rich life, with cultural richness that befits a national capital, and friends who also befit such a place - smart, interested in the world around them, and generally engaged in it in some form.
